uhuh sure i bet you rolled and then got hit bny a semi no car can sithstand that and if you were “totalled” why would you been on this website wouldnt you be getting emergency medical surgery to get whatever was wrong?

On the fwy there were about 8 or 9 plastic chairs in the middle of the slow lane (which I was in) and I swerved to the right (shoulder) to avoid them (not thinking, because the smart thing would of been to just hit them) And I guess I hit the breaks and locked up…started to loose control, i tried to straighten out, but i just started to skid.. I guess I spun, and hit a curb like thing on the shoulder flipped and rolled and landed upside down in a ditch.

When we landed, and i realized we were upside down i checked on Deno (my dog) to make sure he was ok. And he was.

So not thinking, again, I unhook my seat belt and plop down on my head.
Which was the only reason I was hurting.

I turn the car off and I then look around… and realized we were trapped in. There was no way out! Both doors were jammed shut by large tree branches and bushes. I started freaking out because something smelt funny and fluid was dripping down on us.

Everything but the passenger and driver seat area was just smashed in. If Deno had been in the back where I usually make him stay… he probably would not be here with me right now - or in pretty bad shape.

I tried breaking the windows and pushing open the doors, but there was no way. Finally I hear someone asking if I was ok and i told them I was - i just cant get out.. some nice guys cleared the trees and brushes and pulled open the door.

And we made it out.. Deno came out with a wagging tail. We sat on the side of the road until more help came.

We made it out unharmed- not even a scratch.. and I am so very thankful.

these are pretty darn safe cars!!! the air bags did not go off though..

So that completely sucks. i had one just like that but i was in a head on collision and it got totaled and now i have a baby blue tc. its a newer model so it kinda turned out better. good thing you were okay!

Same thing happens on my 06 tc. The brakes feel like they are grinding and the car would not stop even with just a little ice. Had it checked an toyota says brakes are fine.

my breaks lock up and make loud grinding noise on ice and there is no controll and no stopping…today i barely tapped and they locked i had to use my emergency break to stop the d car and i fish tailed…im scared ….dealer said nothing wrong with my breaks is this a cover up?

Well its been a little over 2 years since the wreck. All scars are gone and a new 350z is in the driveway. My airbags did go off causing my arm to swing into the passengers head Knocking them out and bruising my arm. Its a good car but the weight distribution on it is way off, front is heavy and back way too light for example you could pull the e-brake and pull the car with the front tires without a problem and I think the tires are partially to blame(Bridgestone and Firestone have never been good brands for me). Body roll was a big problem too. But its a safe car and if you throw on a Sway bar, strut bar and lower the car by maybe an inch it would be perfect.
