Hit Tree in 1995 Camaro
Email This Wreck StoryWell I was riding down the road, rushing to get home so I was going about 85-90 mph, went to look down for a second and lost control and ran into the woods, the car first went through a barbed wire fence, then hit a tree on the back passenger side, causing the car to do a 360, hit another tree, and the car finally stopped when it hit a big oak tree head-on. Air Bags did come out, bumped my head on it, got a big goose egg on it, had some bruises, and have very bad pains in my knee now, but other than that I was fine.

wow…dude i’m glad you are ok. I am in the market for a car and have been eyeing this 96 camaro that looks just like yours before the wreck ofcourse, how would you rate this car in handling and control ?

well, I will tell you this, I drove a 99 Mustang, and it handled curves alot better than the camaro did. My camaro was an overall good car, but the only thing that wasnt good was going around curves. The reason I wrecked was because I slammed on brakes, and caused it to start turning. Before the wreck I would go 90-100 down straight roads and it did great, no sputtering or anything. I went and bought another 95 Camaro after I wrecked this one simply because I wasnt that hurt after I wrecked it. I would recommend you buy it, you really wont regret it. Hope this helps you

Thanks for the feedback. I got the camaro yesterday. Its awesome. Took it out for a spin and was comfortably doing 90-100 on the highway. Handling is awesome i see what you saying about the handling around curves. I was trying to get an idea how fast i could go before it felt it was gonna give up any time. Have to tell you wasn’t that fast at all. I was doing 40 around a tight curve and that was pretty much the limit. Thanks again for your input.

So do you still have the car? Would you sell it if you do?
